Timeline

-September 25, 1976: Chauncey Ray Billups was born.
-1994: Billups got a basketball scholarship to the University of Colorado and he accepted
-April 1997: Chauncey Billups was the 3
rd overall pick in the NBA Draft. He was drafted by the Boston Celtics
-Midway through the 1997-98 season: Chauncey was traded to the Toronto Raptors.
-Before the 1998-1999: Billups was traded to the Denver Nuggets
-Midway through the 1998-1999 season: Billups was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves
-Before the 1999-2000 season: Billups was traded to the Orlando Magic but didn't play with them due to a shoulder injury.
-Midway through the 1999-2000 season: Billups was traded to the Detroit Pistons
-2003-2004 season: The Pistons won the NBA championship against the Los Angeles Lakers 4 games to 1, and Billups won NBA finals MVP (Most Valuable Player) Award.
-June 2006: The Pistons gave up a last second shot to the Spurs' Robert Horry in the NBA Finals. The shot clinched the title for the Spurs versus the Pistons 4 games to 3.
-November 3rd, 2008: Chauncey Billups was traded to the Denver Nuggets again.
-March 15th 2009: Chauncey Billups dominated and got a triple-double (three of the following in double digits points, steals, rebounds, assists, blocks) for the first time in his career.
